The renowned college of Delhi University, St.Stephen’s released its first cut-off for 400 seats at the institute.

The renowned college of Delhi University, St.Stephen’s released its first cut-off for 400 seats at the institute. An aptitude test and an interview is conducted as a part of entrance test at the college unlike other Delhi University colleges. The weightage for marks of the applicants is 85%, while for the interview it is 10%, and the test holds the 5% weightage.  

The interview process of admission will begin from Friday. The B.A. English honours became the most popular programme with highest number of applications. Students in general category from commerce or science stream have scored at least 98.75% while students from humanities have scored at least 98.25%.     

For B.A economics, students of commerce and science stream require 98.75%, while students of humanities require 98.5%. In addition to this, students should have got a minimum of 92% in mathematics. For B.A. programme, the cut-off for students is 96.5% for students of humanities while it is 98% for students from commerce and science streams.

The list of cut-offs under different categories is available on the institution’s website. The cut-off for students from the Church of North India, is comparatively lower. The number of applications received by the college was 19,862, out of which 59.2% were from women.
