Two Get Perfect 100 in ISC Class 12 Results, South Region Excels

The Indian School Certificate Examinations declared its results for class XII(ISC) board exams on Tuesday.

The Indian School Certificate Examinations declared its results for class XII(ISC) board exams on Tuesday. The best of four percentages of 100%(including English) was obtained by class XII students, Vibha Swaminathan from Bengaluru and Dewang Kumar Agarwal from Kolkata.        

Dewang is a science student (english, hindi, chemistry, maths, physics, and computer science) while Vibha is a student from humanities stream (english, physical science, history, economics and maths). The board only releases best of four percentages for class XII students. This year the increase in pass percentage was minimal with just a 0.31% rise taking it to 96.52%.    

The southern region leads with best pass percentage of 98.91%, followed by western, eastern, and northern regions. 98.54% students passed in class X out of 1,96,271 students which appeared for the exam. There was a small increase of 0.03% from last year.     

Juhi Rupesh Kajaria from Mumbai and Manhar Bansal from Muktsar from Punjab got 498 marks out of 500 and topped the exam. Girls performed better than boys in both the classes. The maximum number of students were from northern region.
